A four-member delegation led by H Jin Kwon from the Choong Ang Vaccine Laboratory Gu Daej Korea called on the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) vice-chancellor Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmad here on Tuesday. The vice-chancellor briefed the delegation members about the academic and research & developments, the university made in recent years with special reference to progress in the animal reproduction and pathology.

He said the university was making collaboration with the national and international institutions for joint research and field work, besides exchange of faculty and students.

The delegation members said their biotechnology company produced poultry, small animal, swine and bovine vaccine after research on diagnosis of diseases, bacteria, virus, and industrial microbe, development of biological preparation production technology.

They also desired for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the UVAS to collaborate in the areas of mutual interest.
